Privacy
What OwnSpot collects and why. Short version: as little as possible.
What we collect
- Listing information you submit (URL, name, description, logo, contact email).
- Payment records via Razorpay (amounts, order/payment identifiers, status). Card and UPI credentials go to Razorpay — we never see them.
- Pseudonymous usage analytics: page views, clicks, funnel events. IP addresses are only stored as salted hashes; we do not build profiles.
- Outbound click events (listing clicked, timestamp, bot flag) to power public click counts.
What we don’t do
- No advertising trackers or third-party ad pixels.
- No selling of personal data.
- No accounts required in V0.
Every checkout requires an email for payment support. The first paid submission for a new listing also establishes its private listing contact for rank alerts. Emails from later supporters remain attached only to their payments and never replace that listing contact. Each rank alert includes a link to mute future alerts for that listing.
Contact & deletion
To correct or delete listing data, contact us via the support address published on the site. Payment records are retained where required by law.
