Cancellation & Refund Policy
OwnSpot is a digital advertising / promotional-placement service. This policy explains how failed payments, duplicate charges, and refund requests are handled.
What you are buying
A payment funds promotional placement on a public leaderboard. Rank is determined by cumulative eligible promotional spend — placements that have paid more appear higher. No impressions, traffic, clicks, customers, or time at any position are promised, and a placement is not a purchase of ownership, an asset, or any part of OwnSpot.
Failed payments
A failed, declined, or cancelled payment is not a successful promotional purchase. Nothing is listed, funded, or ranked because of it, and no charge should appear on your statement. If your bank shows a hold for a payment that did not succeed, contact us and we will review it.
Duplicate or erroneous charges
If you were charged twice for the same placement, or believe a charge was made in error, contact us with the payment details and we will review the transaction circumstances.
OwnSpot technical failures
If OwnSpot cannot provide the placement you paid for because of an OwnSpot technical failure, you may request resolution or a refund review. Each request is reviewed according to the transaction circumstances.
Moderation and visibility
Moderation and content-policy decisions may affect whether and how a listing is visible, as described in the Terms and Rules. Listings removed for deliberate policy violations are not eligible for refunds. Being overtaken by another placement's promotional spend is not grounds for a refund.
How refund requests are reviewed
- Eligibility is reviewed according to the transaction circumstances.
- Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method where supported.
- We may contact you using contact details provided with your submission or refund request.
